Esly Caldwell III, MSOM, L.Ac, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), ADS
Esly received his Master of Sciences degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental
Medicine (ATOM) in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is nationally board certified by the National Certification
Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine,
which covers acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. Esly is licensed to practice acupuncture in Ohio
and Kentucky by the medical board in each state.
After graduating with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa from Earlham College with a B.A. in American
Studies, he worked in progressive politics in Maryland, and then spent 18 months studying yoga and
meditation in India.
Esly received his Clean Needle Technique certification from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). He has received advanced training in acupuncture for drug and
alcohol detoxification from the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Esly was
trained as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) at the renowned Lincoln Recovery Center in
Bronx, New York.
Esly has been teaching Energy Yoga -a combination of hatha yoga and qigong- for more than six
years, having been certified under Tao Semko and Santiago Dobles of Umaa Tantra in Miami, FL.
Esly taught yoga and was a personal fitness trainer for 5 years in Miami to a variety of groups
including: students at the University of Miami, Florida International University, and Miami-Dade
College; numerous gyms, spas and wellness centers, yoga classes for children and seniors, and yoga
therapy for breast cancer survivors.
